There are some very interesting resources, on which you can sharpen your coding skills.

1. Codewars

This is one of the best websites to improve your skills. The most popular languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, .NET, and many other programming languages can be used here. There are two types of tasks: Kata and Kumite. Kata is a task without time limits and competitive parts. Kumite is an online competition with time limits and a leaderboard. It is one of my favorites.

2. CodinGame

The second participant in my list is CodinGame. It has less programming languages, but more types of tasks. They are Clash of Code, League based competitions, and online coding contests. Clash of Code is a 15-minute online task doing. There are several types of Clash of Code competitions — be the fastest and do the tasks with fewer symbols. League based competitions are bot programming tasks, you make a bot and compete with others. Online coding contests are programming olympiads.

3. ProgHub

Attention! Only in Russian.
That is a website that seems to be in a different category, then the first two. Here you can find some tests on various programming languages. If you already had some programming experience, here you can just test your knowledge and prepare for an exam or a job interview.

4. HackerRank

The main benefit of this resource is pair programming. If you have a buddy or a teammate, it’s your choice. Both of you can solve the same task and message in chat. There is a big amount of programming languages. Here, you also can do some penetration practice and test some of your forensics skills.

5. Codeforces

Here you can fight with thousands of programmers for real money. BUT! The tasks are really, really hard. There is a task for each day. A round lasts about 4 hours. That’s a nice place to compete.

6. Kaggle

If you are a machine learning specialist or a data scientist, you MUST go here. You will find various datasets, tasks with money prizes(the mean prize is about 50 000 dollars). If you are great here, you will be hired anyway, because companies PR’s live here.
